Accounting Intern

Requirements

Pursuing an Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Math or Business
Have completed at least two college level accounting classes and have a 3.5 GPA or better in their accounting courses.
Strong experience with Microsoft Office Products, especially MS Excel, Word and Outlook.
Experience working in customer service, preferably face-to-face in a retail or restaurant environment.
Working at least part-time while completing coursework.
A self-starter that is innately drawn to problem-solving, enjoys working independently with autonomous decision-making, is drawn to helping others and embraces working in a team environment.
No accounting experience necessary. We provide full on-the-job accounting.
Must be located in the Raleigh, NC area and have the space and privacy to work from home.
A clean record and willingness to submit to an extensive background check.

Job Duties

Support the accounting staff with bookkeeping and accounting related tasks, including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, data entry, filing and bank reconciliations
Internships are part-time positions working 10 – 20 hours per week.
Training is a hybrid approach of self-study and Zoom collaboration with team members.
All positions are remote, work-from-home, positions with flexible work hours.

Staff Accountant

Requirements

Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Math or Business
Must have a least four college level accounting classes and 3.5 GPA or higher in accounting courses.
Strong experience with Microsoft Office Products, especially MS Excel, Word and Outlook.
Experience working in customer service, preferably face-to-face, in a retail or restaurant setting.
Worked at least part-time while completing coursework.
A self-starter that is innately drawn to problem-solving, enjoys working independently with autonomous decision-making, is drawn to helping others and embraces working in a team environment.
Accounting experience would be a plus but is not necessary. We are poised to provide full on-the-job accounting.
Must be located in the Raleigh, NC area and have the space and privacy to work from home.
A clean record and willingness to submit to an extensive background check.

Job Duties

Support small business clients with bookkeeping/accounting related tasks including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, bank reconciliations, various one-off projects.
Part-time and full-time positions are available.
Meetings and training are over Zoom. Online tutorials complement Zoom training.
Part-time and full-time positions are available.
All positions are remote, work-from-home, with flexible work hours after training.
